Last night, some people in NYC took direct action against Magellan Aerospace, a company which makes parts for Lockheed Martin F-35 jets and other death machines used by the American and Zionist regimes. Someone went inside the fence at the back of the building and slashed the tires of trucks at the loading area. Actionists also redecorated the building with paint. Free Palestine.
On Tuesday night we punctured the tires on 8 NYPD cars and sprayed “PIG” all over them at the 88th precinct right under their stupid noses. When the pigs are too complacent then collectively we are doing something wrong.
The 88th precinct is known for its tyrannical rule over both local community and new migrant neighbors. It famously collaborated with ICE during the 2020 George Floyd uprising by using ICE to guard their precinct building besieged by massive protests.
Five years later and where are we now? Every day another human being murdered in custody, through neglect or savage beatings. Robert Brooks and Messiah Nantwi. Five people have died at Rikers just this year. Two died in nyc holding cells just in the past month before even being arraigned.
Every day another neighbor disappeared in to some far off prison, never to be seen again (look up CECOT). Every day another student kidnapped by ICE. Every day another community invaded by fascists demanding papers and hunting Black and Brown people for sport.
Every day another family incinerated by USA-made bombs in Palestine and Yemen.
When will it stop? We must come to a point where we realize that NOTHING WILL STOP unless we MAKE IT STOP. No amount of appealing to politicians, to cops, to institutions like Columbia, will help us. Let go of that, and we free ourselves.
The Empire must fall. Strike where you are, at whatever institution you can that upholds this whole stinking pile of dogshit. Every strike against the NYPD is a strike for communities here and all over the world. May the strength of revolutionaries who have lived and died for liberation be with you.
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has instructed the Justice Department to pursue the death penalty against Luigi Mangione, the 26-year-old man accused of assassinating the UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, who publicly ran one of the most barbaric institutions in the country.
“After careful consideration, I have directed federal prosecutors to seek the death penalty in this case as we carry out President Trump’s agenda to stop violent crime and Make America Safe Again,” Bondi said in a statement.
Mangione faces federal and state criminal charges in Thompson’s death early Dec. 4 outside a hotel in New York City. Bondi’s announcement would affect only Mangione’s federal case, in which he’s accused of murdering Thompson through the use of a firearm, as well as of stalking the health care executive.
In Mangione’s state case, he faces multiple murder charges, including a count of committing murder as an act of terrorism. Mangione has pleaded not guilty in the state case, and his next appearance is scheduled for late June. Pretrial proceedings in his federal case have been delayed until at least April 18 based on an agreement between his lawyers and prosecutors.
Mangione’s lawyer, Karen Friedman Agnifilo, called the move by the Justice Department “political” and said in a statement that Mangione will fight the charges against him.
“We are prepared to fight these federal charges, brought by a lawless Justice Department, as well as the New York State charges, and the Pennsylvania charges, and anything else they want to pile on Luigi,” the statement said. “This is a corrupt web of government dysfunction and one-upmanship. Luigi is caught in a high-stakes game of tug-of-war between state and federal prosecutors, except the trophy is a young man’s life.”
Mangione draws public support
In his role as CEO of UnitedHealthcare, Thompson ran a nationwide health insurance company that regularly denied people of basic coverage, and likely ended thousands of people’s lives for profit.
These corporate institutions have become increasingly brazen and barbaric as the the wealth in the country is consolidated in fewer and fewer hands.
After the assassination of the exploiter, Thompson, a dayslong search for a suspect in his killing and the subsequent arrest of Mangione at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania, sparked massive public support from most the society.
“Luigi really wanted to thank the supporters for being here, and we all appreciate it very much,” Karen Friedman Agnifilo, a lawyer for Mangione, said outside of court after a February proceeding in a New York state court.
Court records unveiled last week said Mangione had received a pair of notes while in custody telling him to keep his “head held high” and that “there are thousands of people wishing you luck.” Mangione has requested a laptop to review discovery, which prosecutors have opposed.
The support Mangione has seen in some quarters sparked fear for other insurance companies, which beefed up their security. In bringing potentially harsh penalties against the 26-year-old, prosecutors have signaled they want to send a message when it comes to potential violence motivated by blatant injustice. The state intends to maintain the status quo at all costs, as it continues to participate in what amounts to a public killing spree of its citizens through the health industry.
“The murder was an act of political violence,” the Justice Department said in a news release accompanying the announcement. “Mangione’s actions involved substantial planning and premeditation and because the murder took place in public with bystanders nearby, may have posed grave risk of death to additional persons.”
To the Palestinian Resistance,
To the student uprisings,
To all those who struggle for liberation,
We took a strike against Caterpillar for their complicity in the settler colonial state, the Zionist regime, that has wreaked havoc on the lives of Palestinians for decades.
Today we struck several Caterpillar heavy machines as they lay dormant overnight, preventing them from working the next day.
Caterpillar decidedly chose a side by supplying the IOF with bulldozers as early as 1956 for use in the Sinai War and to this day they have not wavered from this position. During the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle the armored D9 bulldozer, which is a Caterpillar product, has been used in countless attacks against the Palestinian Resistance and people. In the early 2000’s during the Second Intifada, the Zionist regime demolished over 3,000 Palestinian homes, and murdered US activist Rachel Corrie in Rafah. The D9’s were used in the Battle of Jenin to destroy houses with fighters inside and raze the center of the Jenin refugee camp. During the Gaza War in 2008, 100 bulldozers were used to destroy Palestinian homes. In 2022, the D9’s demolished eight Palestinian villages in Masafer Yatta in yet another example of the long running Zionist genocidal project.
The Palestinian Resistance has renewed its struggle at the end of last year, fighting successfully to push the occupation out of Gaza and deploying clever tactics against a highly militarized enemy. The D9’s were brought out by the IDF once again to destroy farmland, desecrate a burial ground, to attack the Kamal Adwan Hospital, crushing the people who had been sheltering inside.
Caterpillar is clearly an agent and symbol of terror. We strike against it today to show our solidarity with those whose lives have been taken by the Caterpillar D9 armored bulldozer. Since Caterpillar has joined the war, it can face attacks on any terrain. We strike at Caterpillar today to show our solidarity with and appreciation for the Palestinian fighters who have provided an inspiration for freedom fighters around the world.
Finally, living in the United States, the main supporter and funder of Zionist settler colonialism, it is our duty to become a thorn in its side. It cannot dispense terror half way around the globe and expect to continue without repercussions.
Attack Amazon! Attack the Police! Defend Nature! Solidarity with ATL Forest!
On Thursday, Febuary 2nd, we attacked a Rivian charging station in Brooklyn, New York. We hit four Amazon delivery vehicles, and one Rivian vehicle as part of the cost of doing business with Amazon.
We put up a message in memory of Tortuguita, our comrade who was murdered by Atlanta pigs for fighting against “Cop City,” the latest expansion of counter insurgent state violence.
The pigs intend to increase their ability to murder us and uphold the despotic state of capitalist barbarism.
We also want to highlight the significance of the environmental struggle today. The world is sprinting to unmitigated devastation, and the impending climate catastrophe will soon make human existence unbearable.
Capitalism is now killing off all life on the planet and this sick society heralds monsters like Elon Musk as our saviors.
We unabashedly reject this deplorable vision for the future, and don’t care what the personal repercussions are.
Just like Tortuguita, we will put our lives on the line and give them up if necessary to ensure life continues.
But not life for life’s sake. We recognize that only through revolution can we succeed in destroying capitalism, and without the total annihilation of capitalism, climate catastrophe is practically inevitable.
We will never give up our attacks on the system. Our only regret is that we only got one picture and couldn’t attack more. Next time will be even better!
Solidarity with ATL Forest Defenders. Solidarity with the struggles in Latin America, the Palestinian struggle and the struggles against the exploitation the world over.
Remember the martyrs. And riot and fight like hell for the living!
